The spiral tooth pattern helps in one tooth at a time for smooth mulching. If a fence wire is caught during the mulching process , it can damage the unit by slipping over to the edge of the rotor and get wrapped on the shaft, so wire protection kit is provided to safeguard the rotor and the shaft.
